MitoSense is Supporting Targeting Mitochondria 2024

MitoSense

MitoSense will be sponsoring the 15th WMS Annual Meeting, Targeting Mitochondria 2024, on October 29-31 at DoubleTree by Hilton Berlin Ku'damm, Berlin, Germany.

About MitoSense

MitoSense, Inc. is a research and development company in the field of securing development of treatments for neurodegenerative diseases. With exclusively licensed technology to replenish the mitochondria in humans using Mitochondria Organelle Transplantation (MOT™️), the company, through its U.S. based research partner is initially focusing its efforts on treating ALS. MOT™️ may impact research for  patients with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s and other neurodegenerative diseases, none of which have a cure.

What do they do?

MitoSense uses a proprietary (patent pending) technique to replenish mitochondria to treat ALS. The technique has the potential to treat a wide range of indications including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, Multiple Sclerosis and other neurodegenerative diseases. With experienced leadership in business, government, research, and medical, we have brought together a multidisciplinary team to help in the fight.

Talk at Targeting Mitochondria 2024:

KindyDr. Mark Kindy, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs James A. Haley VA Hospital and University of South Florida will be presenting a major talk during the  meeting in Berlin: "Mitochondrial Transplantation Mediates Improved Cellular Energy Metabolism, Restoration of Mitochondrial Function and Prevention of Cell Death". His team at the VA is collaborating with MitoSense.

In his talk Dr. Kindy will cover:

  1. Isolation and characterization of mitochondria
  2. Application of mitochondrial transplantation
  3. Reversal of cellular dysfunction
  4. Restoration of energy metabolism

Lucid Scientific: Unlocking Cellular Insights in Real-Time

Lucid Scientific is a pioneering biotechnology company dedicated to transforming cell culture research. Our flagship product, the Resipher, is the world's first real-time cell culture monitor for measuring oxygen consumption rate (OCR) directly within standard incubator environments.

Revolutionizing Cell Respiration Analysis:

Traditional methods for measuring OCR require removing cells from the incubator, disrupting their growth and introducing measurement errors. Resipher eliminates this disruption with its innovative non-invasive approach.

Empowering Researchers with Unparalleled Benefits:

  • Continuous, Real-Time Monitoring: Gain uninterrupted insights into cellular respiration throughout your experiment.
  • Non-invasive Measurement: Our high-resolution optical sensors monitor oxygen levels without disturbing your cells.
  • Detailed Data Acquisition: Resipher provides not only the overall OCR but also high-resolution oxygen gradient data within each well.
  • Remote Accessibility: Securely stream data to the cloud and access it from any device for enhanced collaboration and efficiency.
  • Simplified Workflow: Resipher integrates seamlessly into existing workflows, utilizing standard microplates and disposable lids that fit directly within your incubator.

Lucid Scientific is committed to providing researchers with the tools they need to unlock deeper cellular insights, leading to advancements in various fields such as:

  • Cancer Research
  • Stem Cell Research
  • Drug Discovery
  • Metabolic Disease Research
