Dr Laurent Chatre, from Pasteur Institute, Paris will present a Novel Imaging Tool to Diagnose in situ Mitochondrial DNA Processing Dysfunction during next Targeting Mitochondria World Congress

LaurentChatreTo date, mitochondrial transcripts and mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) replication dynamics at the single-cell level were poorly informative of mitochondrial dysfunction.

During the 4th World Congress on Targeting Mitochondria 2013, Dr Laurent Chatre, from Pasteur Institute in Paris, will present mTRIP, an imaging procedure recently developed to track mtDNA processing alterations, and its applications as a potential marker of the mitochondrial status under physiological conditions, diseases, and cytotoxicity.
