Dr. Szeto is internationally recognized for her groundbreaking work in mitochondria-targeted therapeutics and for helping transform mitochondrial science into real therapeutic progress. Her pioneering research led to one of the first FDA-approved mitochondria-targeted medicines, marking a historic milestone for the field.

At a time when mitochondrial medicine is moving from concept to clinical reality, her presence at Targeting Mitochondria 2026 represents a major moment for the global scientific community.

She will deliver a keynote lecture entitled:
